Yo home skillit, if you ever come back to read this, I thought you could use a little news report: Tupac has been dead since 1996.

Lots of people say Pac was the greatest MC ever. Indeed, he was a great MC, but much of the reason many people refuse to believe there will ever be an (arguably) better MC is because he died while he was at the top of his game. Nobody has a memory of him ever being defeated because he didn't have time enough for that to happen. Because of this, we remember him in all his god-like glory, not the genius, yet flawed human being that he was.

He said himself that he did lie in his lyrics. He added a lot of made-up gansta stuff to help sales and to help him be accepted as a rapper.

I've heard lots of songs by both artists, and I think they're both ill MCs. Both of them are top 5 material. While pac often (but not always) has better lyrical content, BIG is much better at flows and wordplay. Another reason somebody might like BIG better is that he was much less a contributer to the beef between them. 2pac was much more responsible their distaste for eachother than Biggie was.
