Hello all,

Sorry if I'm getting off the subject, but there's one thing which keeps bothering me when it comes to this kind of question: every man is endowed with reason, the power of understanding, and the capacity of language. Logic/mathematics has been developed along with our evolution? Isn't it simply impossible?  I cannot think of language as a human invention either.

Whatever, a dolphin wouldn’t change my point. The theory or concept or hypothesis proven and unproven, it is not that important for what I want to say. The truth is always beautiful.

What I do want to say about the troubling point in the theory of evolution - it is not that we have technically a common design to many other creatures in this world.  This idea is actually very pleasant and it had been new.

(Yes...  What would the theory of natural selection explain to us, about us, I wonder...?)

Would you care to elaborate your view a bit more, Aperisic?  I'm just curious!

I gave a very clear answer yet that one was deleted by Nona the Brit (or at least I received such an e-mail) The reason given: Duplicate post.

If the post was duplicate the other "duple" would be still here, but there isn't any. I wasn't rude at all in the post, quite contrary, but yes this is a controversial subject. I won't bother writing it again when someone is going to delete it again. I doubt this one won't be deleted as well. (Please, do not try to explain why you deleted it and make me an idiot or giving some logical excuse. It is OK. I understand. But at least I will not stop thinking otherwise. And that is enough.)

Billie, I don't like aggressive imperialistic talk any more than you do, but I don't think you're going to convince anybody with a torrent of sarcasm.

I'm not sure what you mean, Billie.  BTW, you're still looking for that imp?

Sorry Asperesic, that deletion was an error.

I looked at the post but thought it merely contained a duplicate of your previous post, not a new comment as well. It can get a bit confusing when most of the post IS a duplicate due to a long quotation of a previous post. We do get a lot of duplicate posts here as it is easily done - I've made duplicate postings myself in error and had to delete the extras. As this was not actually a duplicate, I apologise, and would encourage you to repeat the post.

I can assure you that I have no reason to lie about the reason I deleted it nor any special interest in your opinions on evolution etc. There was no element of censorship in my action yet you have leapt to some rather insulting conclusions about all this haven't you. You accuse me of lying in my reason for deletion. I do not lie Asperisic. I also do not delete posts because of my feelings or belief about their topic, and I am deeply insulted by your accusation that I deleted for personal reasons and then lied about it. I am also concerned that you state you are not interested in even hearing the explanation for the deletion. Are you so perfect that you never make an error?

I made an error. I'm only human (however we managed to come into existence Smile [:)])

Sorry Asperesic, that deletion was an error.

Don't bother yourself about it. I could be wrong as well. Maybe I submitted it as a duplicate forgetting to copy a long discussion from the Word document I wrote. I was teasing you a little bit (or the one who deleted it). But, if you did not respond now then there would have been a grave problem not for you and for me but for this entire world.

I'll repeat the post, but I have to rewrite it.Sad [:(]

Do not be troubled, please ... I had to examine what went wrong using all tolls I had on me. I truly believe you didn't do it purposely, but in general a deletion of a normal post is almost a crime.

If you think that is a good thing as well, you can delete the post where I am accusing you or moderator (or someone)and this one freely.

But not the next one...

And if we are the accident of the Universe then why we are talking about anything at all? Why we want to understand anything when there is nothing to be understood. I am then just a passing fluctuation so who cares what I am saying (if there is anything like saying).

Just to clarify a little: Darwin's theory of evolution doesn't deal with either the origin of the universe or the origin of life on earth. But of course there are plenty of subsequent theories that do.

(Billie, can you point those things somewhere else? They're making me nervous. And what have you done with Threepod, by the way?)
