Hi Osee
I haven't got much time to really learn all that is going on in Israel and Gaza. But to respond to the question you posed, we must clarify what the United Nations is 'blaming' Israel for? Is it the humanitarian crisis aggravated by Israel's air offensive? Or the on-going conflict between Israel and the Palestinian? And who among the United Nations is doing the 'blaming'. Its relief agency? Its Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon? Which country's ambassador? From an humanitarian point of view, Israel's restrictions on aid and basic supplies and its attacks are pushing the already dire condition to the brink. The US and the UK argued they wouldn't agree on the Libyan drafted resolution which failed to mention Palestinians attacks on Israel. No doubt their concern is their agreement on such a binding UN resolution would be construed as their stance on the Isreali-Palestinian conflict.
To me, its almost too surreal to learn that this level of conflict which had started so many years before I was born is still showing no sign of abate almost eighteen years into my life.
