I agree with you 100%, Simon_phlui. You're right on all counts there, and I am a Christian. I'm just one of the few who have enough sense to recognize that killing for any reason is wrong and that mankind can't bring about peace...Only God can do that, and He will...I'm just waiting for that time.

SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!
Just because a Christian country bombs a non-Christian country doesn’t mean anything because of separation of Church and State. It has nothing to do with being Christian, but it’s the government doing the "bombing."

Indeed, there is a superficial separation of church and state, New Yorker; however, the very nature of religion and how deeply it affects its adherents guarantees that anyone claiming to belong to any particular religion makes decisions based on his or her beliefs, regardless of what laws say. Secular laws govern the conduct of men, not the hearts of men. Therefore, President Bush makes his decisions based on what his faith tells him, as he has indicated on numerous occasions.

I find this the saddest part of the conspiracy-theory or holocaust-denial (explained in a previous post) approach to the 9/11 event. I heard this idea also quite a lot when I was in Egypt. There is the depressing idea there that a bunch of Saudia Arabian and Yemeni guys couldn't possibly have the power to pull off the 9/11 event. Why? Aren't Saudis and Yemenis just as clever as everyone else? Do they need American government help -- I don't think so. All they needed to do was:
-- get some money from the Bin Laden billions (not difficult if you're going to blow up some Americans)
-- send some volunteers to pilot school, just for part of the program
-- look on the internet and decide which flights they were going to use that took off around the same time
-- select compass bearings to the target and get a couple of relevant maps (probably)
-- pick a cutting tool well known not to be screened for at US airports,
-- buy some plane tickets.
Are you seriously trying to tell me that the whole US government was needed to help in this?
You have to give Arabians more credit for brains, nerve and inventiveness. You can call these particular terrorists evil, but you can't call them stupid. Which you have, in effect, just done by saying they needed to lean on some government.

Well, I read the reasons posted above.I was completely shocked reading the logic that my friends gave. Well, I saw the reasons of religion not the reasons of truth.
Why do you partition the world as East or West? as Muslims or Christians?. You know there is nothing like relegions. The only religion I know is humanity.so, why we not all get united and make this globe a perfect Eden. Rather than making factions in the name of religion why we not join hand-in-hand and see the world via our eyes of humanity, justice and tranquility.
P.S:Please,forgive me for the grammitical errors if there is any.

I mention below some of the reasons.
1. Israel is a jewish country and also a friend of US. In the Arab-Israel war in 1967 Israel defeated the conglomerate of muslim countries that sided with Palestine single-handedly.
So, many middle eastern countries also maintain a grudge against US as it is the closest ally of Israel. This situation has been exploited by some disgruntled terrorist organisation thus making them search for opportunites to strike US.
2. US policy in the middleeast at the outset has been to divide and rule.It made muslims fight againt muslims. It also infuriated many.So, opportunities for retaliation were utilised by the above groups.
3. It is only the self interest of the US that it is the middleeast. If this region was devoid of any oil then any hostility would have never arisen.
