Yes, Gentoo is a great linux distribution. I've been using it for a 2-3 years or so. It has lots of strong sides and a couple of minor problems I have to deal with on a daily basis :-) One of them is that I have to compile everything from the source code. But this necessity has some advantages you get aware of becoming an experienced linux user.

I live not far from the Baltic Sea, by the border.

I ordered a Gentoo-distribution from nixpcd.ru a few weeks ago.
So I'm waiting... Stick out tongue [:P]

I agree that Microsoft is not good as past------It is turn out to be gimcracky.but Microsoft influence the end of 20 centry,and most of people are using it now,it seems like that microsoft can not be replaced in these years...
