Hi,

What does the following context in bold mean?

" He tried to encourage Rick with all of the get well wishes that had been received from all over the world"

Thanks.

It is pretty straightforward English.  Which words do you not understand?

Hi MM,

I have a question about the words 'get well wishes' from the context. Was 'get well' used as an adjective phrase here?

Is 'get well wishes' a phrase?

Thanks.

Yes.  It would be more clear if it were written as get-well wishes or "Get well!" wishes.

I see! Thanks MM.
