2 You'll see the difference within 2 minutes./in two minutes after using this toothpaste. Your teeth will be whiter than ever.

2 You'll see the difference within 2 minutes./in two minutes after using this toothpaste. Your teeth will be whiter than ever.  Both versions are fine.  Write out numbers less than ten.

Can you use when and while together?  I don't know why not.

3 When I listen to music while I play, I win.  Okay.

"Washing the dishes" is commonly used when referring to the daily routine.

"Washing dishes" would be used in contrast to washing something else:

Washing dishes is more fun than washing windows.

Washing the car is more fun than washing dishes.

Washing a car is more fun than washing dishes.

Washing cars is more fun than washing dishes.

Washing the car is more fun than washing the dishes.

I seem to have trapped myself!

The last example compares the two common routines.

The next-to-last example treats "washing" generically.
