I like this one... it's actually the name of a bandSmile [:)]

evanescence

\Ev`a*nes"cence\, n. The act or state of vanishing away; disappearance; as, the evanescence of vapor, of a dream, of earthly plants or hopes

That's the meaning according to dictionary.com (original source: Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary)

Usenet is like a herd of performing elephants with diarrhea - massive, difficult to redirect, awe-inspiring, entertaining, and a source of mind-boggling amounts of excrement...

Yeah I love this word.. before I even knew what it meant, I thought of fizzy water (maybe because the word reminds me of effervescence) but now I know the meaning it makes me think of the bubbles bursting when they fizz up to the top....and disappearing into nothingSmile [:)]

and thanks for the welcome hitchhikerSmile [:)]
