How can we distinguish the difference in meaning btw these countable nouns: business, company, enterprise, firm, corporation?

You'll have to read business journals (I gave you some links) and see which is used where. It really depends on  your audience.

They are really interchangeable in many situations.

See:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporation
for corporation.

Do your own searches for the others. There's lots of stuff at Yahoo.
