1. What's the difference among "reverse, inverse, converse"?  if something is reversed/inversed/conversed. Does it mean something's up and down are messed up, Or something's left and right are messed up Or something's face and back are messed up. It's confusing.

2. What's the difference among "status, situation, circumstance, condition"?

3. Supermarkets provide us with a large ___of goods to choose from. A.type B.range C.variety D.sort.        I really can't figure out the difference among those choices.

THanks for reply.

Revert suggest to me to go back to a previous state, position, etc.
Invert: to take the opposite position of what it was before (first will be the last and vice versa or invert (capsize) a ship)
convert means to change something so that it become something else.

Things can't be inversed or conversed.  They can be reversed.

See www.m-w.com

Be particularly careful about noun and verb meanings.
Look up revert, invert, and convert as well.
There are multiple meanings in most cases.
