I beleive the worlds biggest problem is man's inability to cope with abundance. In the world there are many who have every means in which to live a happy productive life and yet they slave onward trying to acheive happines through material possesions. If people could see all the wealth that they have and not all need massive mansions and 40 ferraris. If we only shared the wealth instead of 2 people having castles and two million starving. There is more than enough food and land in the world to go around, it is only human greed that stands in the way.

The world's biggest problem is its rejection and denial of the truth of the Lord Jesus the Christ who came among us and died for all of our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures. As prophesy shows, man is his own worst problem. From the beginning, when Adam and Eve willed to be disobedient to God, the cycle of sin started that continues to this day. The depravity of mankind causes him to continually reject the only salvation that he has which is faith in Christ and the higher creator our God. All of the facts of true history and prophesy point to this conclusion. But, because man wants to live in darkness and reject authority over himself, he refuses to even investigate the possibilities of a savior. Many talk about the need of Christians to open their minds. I believe it is the unbelieving word that possibly needs to open its mind and heart to accept that there is a God who loves every man, woman, boy, girl, but does not love their sin, but has mad a way to escape the due penalty of sin. The way of escape is faith in the Son, the Son of God, Jesus the Christ, Messiah, Deliverer.

So, mankind looks at the things of this world and worries that the world may end through some catastrophe. I part that is true. It is true for those who do not put their trust in the Son of God. For those who have, we know that man's end will be because of man's own will. His will to reject or accept God and His word and promises. All of the bad and evil that we see around us is the result of man's sin. God's word states that we deserve death as the consequence of our sin. Almost every religion and cult in the world knows this. That is why they are always trying to make atonement. However, all that we have is not good enough to make up for our sin. Even the Jewish sacrifices or doves and lambs were not good enough. And many in the past thought that if they could keep the Law (commandments), that would give them favor before God. But, no man was able to keep the Law until the one who knew no sin came and dwelt among us. It took a perfect sacrifice. The only perfect man that has ever existed in Jesus the Christ. Who gave His life, that we may live (eternally) with God.

But don't take my word for it! I welcome all men to truly investigate these facts for themselves. No man can force a belief on another. If so, there is no faith. One must come to believe on his own by digesting the facts with his mind and then allowing those facts in the mind to penetrate his heart. Faith is not blind nor ignorant. Faith in something must have substance and facts to back them up. Else it is just a theory.

Peace and blessing be with all who read this.

Religion in general. It separates people in the world - it's the cause of wars - the most cruel wars in the world!

If the people believed in Good not God (or if there were only One religion) on the planet  a lot of problems would eveporate themselves.

Thanks, Dew.  A good posting, but I would just like to point out that belief in Good (or God - they really are the same thing, in my opinion) is not the same as being religious. Being religious is subscribing to an earthly church that claims to be a body of God's representatives. Belief in God (or Good) is entirely different, and a very much more personal affair.

Religion gives Good (God) a bad name!

Work it out for yourselves - you don't need the 'high and mighty' (religious) middle-men to do it on your behalf! God (or Good) is there for all of us. Anyone who tries to stand between you and Good (or God) by weilding and trying to enforce stupid earthly regulations is not Good (or God)!

Hmmm... Good question...

I heard this very interesting opinion- the reason why we find ourselves on the top of the food chain-is not  due to our ability to speak ,or walk straight,or build bridges, but simply the fact that human beings were and will always remain the CRAZIEST,greedy  and single-minded animals ever found.

Maybe this is one of the key factors...
