Really? Americans are the source of conflict between Ireland and England? For the atrocities in Darfur? For the years of Apartheid in South Africa? It was America who created the conflict over Kashmir between India and Pakistan? And the love shared by Geeks and Turks... that too is because of America? Wow. To think  Americans have been creating evil in the world hundreds of years before our country was ever formed. That's interesting... or dare I say, quite curious!

Barbara, who answers in American English. My housekeeping skills attest to the truth of the second law of thermodynamics: Left to themselves, things get more and more random!

Hello Grammar Geek,

Reading through the lines of your post, I surmise, all the above coflicts are, this way or that way, results of wrong American Policy. Although one may find it hard to establish a direct connection between the conflicts throughout the world, it is cyristal clear that America is reaping the crops of hatred the seeds of which she had sown  in the exploited colonies for centuries. It goes the same for England which is politically an identical twin of the USA. Apartheid in South Africa was instigated by those avaricious newcomers of the land who expelled the real residents and owners of Africa. As for the conflict between Iran and Iraq, let's don't forget the Watergate Scandal, where America was trading weapons to her enemy. And about Iraq, it still is a mystery whether Iraq had (or has)weapons of  mass destruction. And again let's remember America was the biggest patron and supporter of both Iran and Iraq at the same time in warfare. Who'd have refused  to earn  easy money from such two gullible money-making countries. As for Turkey and Greek, all of the coup d'états were supported by America against its inveterate enemy Russia. How soon we forgot the Green Belt Policy America pursued for years and supported Islamist fundementalists against its Communist rivals, which resulted in terrorist organisations led by Bin Ladens, Sadr etc.. How was that proverb?

As you sow, so you shall reap.

Cheers!

American Foreign Policy! It is the source of all evils

So, the USA are guilty in the death of the dinosaur? Curious...

It's always easy to lump the blame on someone, but I don't think there's just one culprit of this or that crime. If the American foreign policy is as it is ('causing wars and problems'), that means other countries allow it, willingly or unwillingly, to be as it is. Why don't you blame other countries for that they let the USA do it?

So, who is to blame? The thief? or the houseolder who forgot to lock his door? Have you seen anyone having been tried in a court for leaving his door unlocked before he went to bed and was unfortuanely robbed by a thief?
