Well in Arabic there are many swearin words more than I can think of from the top of my head. I dont usually use them nither do my family or usually the society I live in, well to be honest some use few words (not the very insulting ones) when they are really *** off. I heared my father used some words equivalent to "Sons of the ***" once or twice, and I was shocked.
Educated people usually use poetry to insult others, peoms that were said 2000 years ago are still used and understood and believe me the Arabic literature is rich in peotry.
One last word, the words used for swearing in the past are still used now and they have the same effect. I cant think of any word that was abusing and it is not abusing now.
