Hello Waiti,  No it's not my baby, (or my sink).  Funny though, isn't it? Smile [:)]

It was titled "Why men shouldn't look after babies."

That's just it! The dirty sink is not so bad as the dirty sink with a child in. Smile [:)]

Perhaps, it was "Why men should look after babies"? Or I don't understand that humour at all... Tongue Tied [:S]

Ruslana, You are taking this far too seriously.

This is a JOKE, not child abuse.

Pity you have no English sense of humour, its really very funny.

It's OK, Tallulah Tam! Don't think I am a boring grave person like this chap --> [link] " border="0" />

Usually I am like these ones --> Big Smile [:D]

And you're right, I don't have English sense of humor... Because I don't belong to the English! Big Smile [:D]

Ruslana, I will explain the joke.

The joke is that nobody (not even a man left in charge of a baby) would do this, - put the baby in the sink with the washing up!

The baby is a metaphor.  The picture was staged (posed) to suggest that men would rather do other things than look after a baby.

The baby is dirty and needs washing and so do the dishes which he has also neglected to do; so wondering what to do with the dirty baby he has put it in the sink to be dealt with later along with the washing up.  The implication is that men are lazy and would rather watch TV with a glass of beer than either wash the baby or do the washing up.

The little duck is the really funny touch - he has even given the baby a toy to play with to keep it quiet until he decides to finish the job.  Smile [:)]

Ruslana, This is called "tongue in cheek" humour, (meaning, not to be taken seriously).  Men laugh at this joke too.

Even though it is a joke against them, it is so outrageous they think it is just as funny as we do.

Oh, I see now. Big Smile [:D] Thanks you have explained it, Tallulah Tam!

Waïti.
