Are these correct? What do they mean?
1. Creating your talent inventory refreshes your memory and helps you immediately
remember experiences you would otherwise
have forgotten
during the interview. (What does it mean when I use past perfect here?)
2. Creating your talent inventory refreshes your memory and helps you immediately
remember experiences you would otherwise
forget
during the interview. (What does it mean when I use past tense here?)
Thanks.

Hello Jack
As you know well, the sense of 'forget' changes depending on the tense.
One forgot X = One cannot recall X to mind
One forgets X = One cannot retain X in mind.
[X= anything like an experience or knowledge]
A) TI creation helps you remember experiences you would otherwise have forgotten during the interview.
= TI creation helps you remember experiences you couldn't otherwise recall to mind during the interview.
B) TI creation helps you remember experiences you would otherwise forget during the interview.
= TI creation helps you remember experiences you couldn't otherwise retain in mind during the interview.
[note TI creation = talent inventory creation = creating your talent inventory]
Which one makes sense, A or B?

In Japan today even dogs are learning how to bow-wow in English.
