Hello. I wrote two dialogues. Will you check them?

No. 1

M: Mr. Sato, I have finished only half of the [my] report. Will you

   give [lend] me a hand?

F: Why not? I'm glad to help you.

M: Thank you. When will it be convenient for you?

No. 2

M: You're wearing nice glasses, Annie. Where did you get them?

F: Through [On] the Internet. But I'll never try that [do it] again.

M: Why? Is there any trouble?

F: This isn't the color I ordered.

                              Thank you!

Hi,
No. 1

M: Mr. Sato, I have finished only half of the [my] report. Will you

   give [lend] me a hand?

F: Why not? I'm glad to help you. or I'd be glad to help you.

M: Thank you. When will it be convenient for you?

Note that the above people are being extremely polite to each other. In my country, close colleagues would be a bit more casual in talking to each other.

No. 2

M: You're wearing nice glasses, Annie. Where did you get them?

F: Through [On] the Internet. But I'll never try that [do it] again.

M: Why? Is there any trouble? or What's wrong? or What's the matter?

F: This isn't the color I ordered.

Best wishes, Clive

Thank you, Cleve. As for No. 1, M is a student and F (I should have written Ms. Sato) is a teacher.
Is Ms. Sato too polite to the student? Sato is a lady, and sometimes in Japan female teachers
speak very politely to their students.
Do you have any idea about my comments?

Hi,
I understand that politeness is a very important part of Japanese culture, so I think you are the better judge of how to word a dialogue between Japanese people.

What you wrote sounds fine to me.(:)) Smile
