Are there good books or resources which are known to help improve ones written English? Because I want to improve my style and do not know which writer or which source is the best. For example when I read articles in newspapers ,like Guardian for instance, I find it very different from the way books are written!
Does journalism have its own style(or may be language) that should not be copied by authors of books?or it is a recommended language and style?

Journalism can be very different from literary English. My advice would be to avoid copying newspapers, but to read serious journals like "The Spectator" or "The New Yorker" if you are interested in good writing. As to style, you must find your own style. Imitating other authors is not the best way, except as an exercise to learn how they used language.

Read as widely as you can. The more you read, the better.
