Is this the same question repeated, Felecia? I just gave a brief answer on your first thread:

What kind of letter? What is the source of the quote? Please give us some data to work with. Usually just a brief bracketed explanation is sufficient: '(vide Adam Smith in The Wealth of Nations)'.
