Hi,

I did a covering letter to apply at university. But I still need your help please. I f you could see at it and give some advise. I read already the advise you've done previously. I try to follow them so...
There is just one difference with the others. I want to apply a a postgraduate course that I've never study before. I have a degree in history and I want to do International business law.

Dear Madam, Sir,

I am writting to apply for the LLM International Business Law.

I gratuaded in history in June 2002 at the University Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne at Paris.
My degree focuses on the link between the political history and the press.

My aim is to work in an international field of work related to the business and law. Therefore, I have to gain a deeper theoretical knowledge in law and analytical skills in business in an international context.

History studies helped me to understand people and societies. It offered me an extensive evidential base for the contemplation and analysis of how societies function. It also encouraged me to understand change and how the society we live in came to be.
History allowed me to develop a range of skills like using an extensive materials available to study the human condition. I learned how to combine different kinds of evidence- public statements, private records, numeral data, visual materials- and developthe ability to make coherent arguments based on a vatiety of data.
I acquired research skills, the ability to find and evaluate source of informations, an excellent communication skills, a strong writting and speaking skills which are directly relevant to many of the analytical requirements in the public and private sectors of law.

So when you study law, you come face to face with human nature in its all form and contradictions, major concerns of date and private dealings.
I am confident that I will have the skills which enable to me to pursue a career in business law on an international level.
Why Law? I believe that legal system is the most effective way to address and change problems in society. One of the most fascinating aspects of the law is that it is always subject to change. For me, study Law is not a process of memorizing stagnant rules or principles but rather a process of carefully and effectively analyzing a client's position.
Why Business Law? I want to gain a strong and essential management skills. I would like to develop a broad competence in the management of people, markets, money and products.
I am specially attracted in international level thanks to my knowledge of several languages. I am a French native, and during my studies I have learned Spanish and Italian. I live in UK for 2 years to improve my English. And because of my heritage, I am fluent in Arabic. My strong knowledge of five language will be a major benefit in my internatinal career.

LLM International Business Law reflects my interests, needs and career aspirations. I am hard-working and highly motivated. I am ready to undertake any courses either in Law or Business to fill my gap.

I had the opportunity to visit the University***. I met some students in the campus and talked to the Admissions office.
I know that your University has an excellent international reputation on developing effective managers for every sector and discipline, investing today's managers with the ideas and experience to become tomorrow's international elite and an attracting staff.

Yours faithfully.
