An even easier, cheaper, and safer cure of hypertension is just to listen to your favorite tunes.

Hi,
Does tunes in the above refer to melody, songs, or music? Thanks.

I guess it could refer to any of them... Tunes is sited as,
a. A melody, especially a simple and easily remembered one.
b. A song.
c. Correct pitch.

Aside from that my tune is Parchebels - Canon, played on piano.

In that context it means your favourite music.
