They have different variants of what Materazzi has said. But I really thnk, that nobody will know, what he has said. Because even if now Zidane doesn't want to tell everybody what he has heard from Materazzi. Maybe he won't tell it in soon future.. But that's really strange, I also think so. But they say, that Materazzi told Zinedine "you're the terrorist", and the second variation " I want you and your family die in ...(some very bad situation)". But that's stuoid, i tthink, people now show their fantasie and that's all. They don't know the truth , really.

Hi Nyla,

I want to say "I love Italy and I hope to spend part of my life in Italy "

Besides, Italy deserves The Gold

On the other hand, I feel sad of what happen to ZeZo , he is a wonderful player .

Our Media wrote about this event: that Zinedine Zidane asked Materazzi if he wants his T-shirt because he was catching it and Materazzi said, yes, I want your T-shirt and your wife, then Zidane hit him.

I do not know if that is the Truth.

Zinedine is a muslim and Materazzi passed some racial comments on him as non muslims always call muslims terrorist so he did the same and Zinedane lose his tempor and hit him because its very hard to bare racial comments as I'm muslim whenever I listen on TV calling muslims as terrorist by non muslims I really get very very upset.

Well, you should not Anon, and if what you put forth to explain Zizou's reaction -he's being a Muslim- is true, well, he's even more wrong, because your religion teaches you guys patience, and tricks to keep your wits with you, such as changing position when one feels overwhelmed with anger- if he was standing, he should sit, if he was sitted, he should lay, or he should say "Aouzou Bil LAH minach-chaitani rajiim", or so-I believe the teachings of your Prophet say that, the strongest man isn't he who can lift a mountain up, but he who can contain his anger. Correct me if I'm wrong, Anon.

Zizou is an example for many youngsters, not only as a Muslim, a sportsman, but simply as a human being. Do you  want  them tomorrow to do  what he did to Materazzi? To headbutt any TV reporter who'll refer to  Muslims as Terrorists or whatsoever?

I'm a big fan of his, football wise, but he was soooo wrong. I'm  sorry to say that, but provocation is a legal trick in football. It happens all the time, and if one can't keep up with that, well I'm sorry he shouldn't play at all. As a Professional player who performed in Italy, he should have been aware that  attention would be focused on him, and Italian players, well aware of his temper -as the whole world furthermore is- would use every trick possible to get him off the pitch. They started by playing rough on him - and on other French players as well- but he remained very sporting. Seeing that it was not fruitful, they changed tactics...He shouldn't have changed his.

It's true that in certain cultures, certain races, familly = dignity and honor. But there are also many ways to keep one's dignity an honor, and I believe Islam teaches those too. I loothe whatever Materazzi told Zizou, because he was supposed to show him some respect after all the good things he did in the Calcio, his seniority, and the fact that this was his last game. He should have rather helped him end his career in a better way. I think he too should be punished, because racist acts of every sort have started taking over football. Fifa should really do something about it, otherwise there will very soon be  other Materazzi , and of course, other headbutts a la Zizou..

Materazzi '' i pulled his uniform.he turned to me and teased.he looked down on and said impudently 'if you want my uniform too much, i will give you later' and i sweared.'' then he continued ''mine was a swearword that we always blurt out on the zone.i never call him terrorist.i m an ignorant person.i dont even know what does Islamic terrorist mean! and i didnt say anything about his mother...''

briefly Materazzi confessed he sweared but he defends ,it wasnt a swearword as big as make a fuss..it was little usual swearword he says.

There was an interview yesterday in Canal+ (French tv) in which Zidane said Materazzi insulted his mother and sister. He didn't mention anything about terrorism...

I never imagine that an Italian footballer could insult in this way.
