Ha, This seems to be the first bug. Content of the HTML post isn't being scrolled.
So I reposted my previous message. Everything should be fine now.
So again, first group of photos is from the downtown of my hometown. (Brno, Czech rep.)

Next four photos are from the catacombs under my hometown. That historical relics, which you
can see on the photos, are from the 12th century.

Next four photos are from the city called Roznov, which is located maybe 40 km outside of
my homewtown. Photos, which you can see, are from the historical minitown(inside of Roznov),
which ilustrates how people lived in my country in 16th century.

Guys, in this set of photos you may find one picture from the city from absolutely another
state. That city is one of the most famous city in EUROPE. Determining of that photo shouldn't
be so hard, but I'm curious if you will recognize which city it is and where it is from
(location in that city)...:-)))

I believe that a lot of you like taking pictures. So I suggest that we post here our shots - it can be scenery, architecture, your town or country sights, objects, portraits, animals, action shots, food... Anything you like!

Just three points to pay attention to:

- it must be one of your most recent pictures taken in the past 3 days!
- some Photoshop (or another editor) handling is okay, but don't let a shot lose its natural beauty.
- some comments about a photo are also welcome.

Let's get started!

This was taken in a park nearby my home place. After a pouring rain, some haze arose over the pond, and the sunset rays coloured that all into yellow.

Hi guys,
Hmmm, I turned off my antispyware resident shield and even my Norton Internet Security application, nothing helped. HTML widget for photo inserting was crashing all the time. To figure out this problem I'd need to know, what technology this forum is using. But it doesn't matter, I found another way. I owe admins another apology..:-), because EF has outstanding HTML support!! Next set of photos is from the National park, which is situated maybe 3 hours outside of the city where I was born. I took these pictures last summer during my vacation. Tommorow I'll send some photos from the downtown of the city where I'm living..:-)

Photos of Hagia Sophia and Sultan Ahmed Mosques

Hi everyone,

Here are some photos from my trip to Ä°stanbul. First of all, I want to inform you that Hagia Sophia and

Sultan Ahmed are both mosques. The only difference is that Hagia Spohia was church before

and now it is a museum. I call them "two brothers". Here is their photos looking at each other.

On the right is Hagia Sophia and on the left is Sultan Ahmed Mosque. In this photo they don't

seem to be looking at each other exactly but in fact they are at the both end of a street!

The current building was originally constructed as a church between 532 and 537 AD on the orders

of the Byzantine Emperor Justinian. In Greek, it means Holy Wisdom.In 1453, Constantinople

was conquered by the Ottomans and Sultan Mehmed II ordered the building to be converted into a mosque.

Let's start with Hagia Sophia. I took this picture from a site to make you see the inside of the church better.

It is written Allah, God, and prophet Muhammed in Arabic.

It is a two-storey-building. You climb to the second floor from a place like a maze.

At the top is Mother Mary.

You can see Jesus depicted everywhere.

At the second floor there are mozaics from Roman Empire times. I can't tell you all the story in

detail. just think about this as a commercial and please search for more information if you are interested.

And Mihrab, showing towards Mecca.This was built by Muslims later as you guess.

These two pictures show things related with Islam.

And here is the marble jar. It was brought from Pergamon during the reign of Sultan Murad III.

Originally from the Hellenistic period, it was carved from a single block of marble.

I guess it is called medrese. Students were educated here at Ottoman times.

Another mosaic of Mother Mary and propher Jesus.How cute he is! (I mean the depiction ehem)

I don't know what this is called but you put your finger in the hollow and if you can turn your hand close

to 360 degrees,

it is believed that all your wishes will come true. I tried but I copuldn't. By the way, I saw a boy who

could do this and

he was security officer there. Maybe he knows the clue! I begged him but he didn't want to confide.

Now here is the other brother Sultan Ahmed Mosque. I didn't take much photo because to me all mosques

are almost same.

The mosque is one of several mosques known as the Blue Mosque for the blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior.

It was built between 1609 and 1616, during the rule of Ahmed I.

I said I didn't take much photo but I couldn't stop myself and found some photos for you.

And the last photo, Bosphour.

I want to finish with a small talk.

Ehem ehem, clearing my throat, I just want to say that Turkey, namely Anatolia, has a lot of cultures ,

languages, different histories on its lands. So, I read discussion on forums and see that new generation

talk without knowing anything, without being careful. Before Muslims and Turks, Christian people and

the ancestors from Europe lived on our lands and when they went they left their history and culture

behind which means when you are talking about Turkey you should be careful because it may have

even the slightest relation with your own history, with your own culture or with your own ancestors.

If Turkey is in peace, your history will be in peace too, if Turkey is in peace, your remnants from

your ancestors will be safe too, if Turkey is in peace, your culture can be showed to new generations.

Hagia Sophia is only one of the examples.

I know that I said that I'll send some photos of my home town. But one of my colleagues, from the company
I'm working for, recommended me to visit DinoSaurusPark, which is located about an two hours outside of my
home town. This park is very similar to the park, which you have seen in the Jurassic Park movies. In fact,
all models of animals looked like alive..:), so I really felt like in the "Jurassic Park" movies..:-)

I don't bore you by adding a lot of informatio about the history of Gallipoli, if you are interested you can

find information on the net. This time I will show you Ãanakkale, the place where Gallipoli

Company set in. Unfortunately, there are less photos with low solution.

Scenery from Kilitbahir Castle

You mount the castle from these ladders but they are very dangerous and horrible. I mounted but I don't

know how people carried me to the ground.

Here is the castle. Kilitbahir means the lock of the sea. It was constructed in 1462 on Fatih sultan Mehmet's wish.

This is a kind of shelter. From the other side you can only see a hill so it enables soldiers to hide themselves

from the enemy.

The inside of the shelter is a kind of grave, you know war time and all soldiers were buried in such digs.

Another scenery. (The quality is really bad. Normally it is so charming!)

His name was Koca Seyit. He is sadi to have carried 276 kg of bullet on his back and shot an enemy ship.

It is also said that the bullet got into the ship from the chimney.

Here is the cemetery of Turkish soldiers. Actually our soldiers don't lie here.Their real cemetery is in the forest near

this cemetery.

It says the boy was 19 years old here. Believe me there are even much younger boys because every men over 45 kg

were accepted as soldiers.

This place is the cemetery of English soldiers if I am not wrong.

Old people living there say that they can still find skeletons and old bullets if they dig the soil.

Can you see the bullets? Guess what a bloody war it was.

It seems that bullets were crashed on air.

Guess what this is. This is a kind of tunnel dig at war time and at the other end there is another tunnel enemies dig! If they had continued a bit, they would have met face to face.

Now you will wonder how Tukish people won that war though they were poor and short

of money and gun. Let me tell you one of the tricks. First, see the cliff picture. Turkish soldiers were at the top and the

enemies were waiting on the ground. Tuekish soldiers fell from that cliff.The sound,

cries and the dust at moon shine exaggerated the scenery and Anzacs thoguht that we

were really crowded. There are other clever pyschological war stories like this too.

Cappadocia and Konya Photos

Hello everyone, before exams I visited ÃrgÃ¼p, GÃ¶reme, known as Cappadocia and Konya. Here are some

of the photos I want to share with you and short information under the pictures about the photos.

Here is Cappadoccia and this place is Ihlara Valley.

This is the half- bird view of Ihlara Valley.

The hollow you see was eroded by water millions of years ago. The rocks, actually

we call them "peri bacalarÄ±", in English chimney rocks, are a result of volcanic

eruptions occured in Erciyes, HasandaÄ and GÃ¼llÃ¼daÄ, volcanic mountains in the region.

This is the level of water in the valley now.

You can go across the valley with the help of bridges.

You can only reach the water after approximately 300-step- ladder.

This is the mountain you see on Milka chocolate packets.

Look, these are the chimney rocks I mentioned you.

Don't think that you can only see the chimney rocks in distinct areas. you can see

them in the city too. Actually, people dig those rocks to make house and churches.

Can you recognise the houses there? There is one thig special with those rocks. No matter what the

season is, the inside of the houses ,actualy rocks, are always 15-16 C. This heat is very appropriate

for wine and people make and sell wine here.

They seem like sands but they are volcanic tufas.

Here is the city centrum.

There are litres of wine in these things and this place was digged and made in a volcanic rock so the owners

don't have to think much about the desirable temperature for wine.

Before Muslims, Christian people lives on these lands and they instructed, dig, almost 2000 chuches in the

rocks. The hollow things on the rocks are the doors of the churches.

A closer look on the entrance of a church.

This place is inside of one of the oldest churches.

As you can see, the only colour is red and the depictions are so poor. The only colour is red because

the red is the easiest colour can be made out of the roots of the plants in the region. We can also say

that they haven't discovered the other colours yet. Guess how old it is! Look at the drawing of the old cross!

But later, they became proficient at drawing and they started to draw more pictures of Jesus and apostles.

They found other colours.

Morover, they depicted the history of Christianity and Jesus on the walls in the churches.

I returned from the Canary Islands a few days ago and I'd like to share some of the pictures I took there.

Amadores apartments in the south-west of the island.

Some Amadores hotels. Note that there is a swimming pool on the roof of the the Gloria Palace Hotel closest to the sea.

The Gloria Palace Hotel from below. I was on a boat when I took this picture.

A promenade lining Playa de Las Canteras in Las Palmas, the capital of the islands.

Playa de Las Canteras is three kilometres long. This is the northern end of it.

Time to have a cup of coffee and some tapas.

There is something wrong with the picture editor. I meant to post more pictures but it accepts pictures in a very unpredictable way. Everything seems to work out fine but in most cases the picture doesn't appear. Sometimes I see just two or three millimetres of it in the window and when I go to Prewiew, I see all of the picture. There are some bugs. However, I'll try to post more pictures in the next few days.
