It's an old film, the title is 'Collage of our lives' which was produced in 2003. I don't konw if it's being moved, it's just the feeling of being haunted, the pictures linger in my mind and wouldn't go. I've watched moives from many cultrues, including many Chinese moives. I really wonder why they just choose to introduce such a moive at such a belated time. American moives take my eyes; Chinese moives are very superficial, they really have the face and nerve to bring them to international film festivals!!! Japapnese movies take my mind and heart. Do you have any ideas for books that might work well for this kind of group? They are... intermediate and advanced ESL students at a US college males and females 18-50 years old motivated to continue learning English outside of a formal class. The students aren't sure what they want to read, so I'm going to make a list of possibilities they can research and then choose from. During their journey, the crew find themselves in an underground world inhabited with people and dinosaurs, where most of the movie takes place. In the end, the subterrene gets back onto the surface in a graveyard. IIRC, one of the lead actors is Tony Curtis. Does anyone remember the movie? Has anyone read ' the Grapes of Wrath' by John Steinbeck??
My American friend gave it to me as a present. Since then, I'm trying to read it. But actually it's a little boring !!. Can you imagine I' m now on page141and it has passed three weeks since I began reading it?? I dont why, may be because of the language. The word are writtten as people pronuonce them. Maybe here lies the problem. I am trying to interpret what the characters of the novel are saying.
e.g somepin means something ..kin means can ... etc. It comes to mind to ask: Are People in America speaking the same way???
What do you think about the novel? Do you recommend me to contiune reading it?
Hope to see replies..
Thanks anyway..

please tell me the name of this cartoon series

Hi,

 Hi everybody :)
Sometimes we read a story and don`t forget its events, characters and content.
It affects us and our feelings or it teaches us some lessons in life..
Can everyone tell us about his or her unforgettable story :)
For me, I have read some stories that are magnificent and unforgettable. The last one was " Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom. This story attracts me from the beginning. The writer`s technique in narrating is interesting. The relationship between the writer and his teacher( the main character) and the life`s lessons that were given through this story are amazing , impressive and touching..
 what about you?
