How many trees are/is there? 2. How many people is/are there? 3. How many of you is/are there? In first, trees are plural, so 'are' should be correct. Second, people are either plural.I'm not sure but couldn't be people considered as a group in which case 'is' would be more appropriate? Third, again speaker is referring to a group. Anyone can help? Thank you.
