quantity." You could just as well say "is there a book" or "are
there books." But we usually say "is there any book" and "are
there any books." Singular vs. plural is a non-issue as far as
"any" is concerned.
For example: ...any books or ...any book; ...any watches or ...any watch; and so on. Or you can at least give me some of examples to explain how to use 'any' to make a proper sentence. Curious, is this only noun can be used with it? Thanks.
