are not usually used in the progressive-- remember that most of the
stative verbs have special instances when they can be used 'actively',
and therefore may appear in a progressive form. And choose is not a state verb anyway-- it is an action; it can easily appear as have been choosing , etc.

By the way, use the phrase all due respect only when you are planning to disagree with someone: With all due respect, I think your design is terrible!

Have a good year-end holiday, Hela.

The verbs that you have stated above can be used in the present perfect but not in the present perfect progressive, right? Is it the same for "hope, remember and forget"?
But the verb "choose" can be used in the progressive form, can't it?
Thank you for all the help you provide me. I wish you all the best for the year ahead.
 With all my due respect,

On a handout I read: "Some verbs connot be used in the present perfect. Name a few."
So what the teacher should've written was "in the present perfect PROGRESSIVE", then?
 Kind regards,
