I'm a teacher for adolecents and adolecents adults and as I'm not in a geographical english area is more difficult to check the real use of the language.
Thanks and my best regards for you

When I SEE him, we always GO to a pub OK
We usually MEET when we Go to work OK. You could also say 'are going ...'
What happen with "when" here that always evoke precise action with simple tenses? You are dealing with habits/schedules.
Paul and Tim go to London three times a year, but next summer they ARE STAYING at home. My doubt here is what happens with those verbs which refers to an state and they doesn't have a beginning or an end? The contimuous stresses the duration,as well as the future plan. You could say 'they stay', but it would be much less commonly used. Or you could say 'will stay / is going to stay'.
Occasionally he GOES to the cinema, but he GOES to the cinema at least once a week. OK
