IL se retourna et vit qu'il était seul : son guide avait disparu. Il regarda autour de lui et sentit que quelqu'un l'observait ... Sir Marmaduke Candlestick was slowly walking / advancing (?) into the jungle when he suddenly realized that he had forgotten to take his map.
