For a linguisitc perspective... the plural of Taurus is Tauri i.e. Octopus Octopi. :-)

In the US, you can sure say "I"m a Taurus." (But I'll let Nona answer whether it's weird to say that in the UK.)

In the UK we say one person is a Taurian, and so the plural is Taurians. Really? I didn't know that! Thanks, Nona! I noticed that only the OED lists " Taurian " and only a few dictionaries give " Taurean ", so I wanted to ask whether " I'm a Taurus " (which is what I've always said ) would be acceptable/common/natural (if it's not, I promise I'll use Taurian). Thanks!

If one was born under the sign of Taurus, that makes you a Taurii. How do you figure that one Taurus is a Taurii?

The plural of Taurus is Taurii. If one was born under the sign of Taurus, that makes you a Taurii. Taurii is in the Genative (Possessive) Case. Therefore, Taurii is both plural and possessive.

Hi guys, Where I live, I hear people just making the horoscope sign words plural by adding 's'. They are both Tauruses. They are both Leos. They are both Virgos. Although I wouldn't suggest 'They are both Pisces es '. Best wishes, Clive

Taurus is the name of an astrological sign. It has no plural, and you would say John and Mary are also Taurus. You could express this: Laura's a Tuarean. Joan and Mary are also Taurean .
