They do mean the same thing? #1 suggests that the speaker will not be surprised if there is more than one such building. #2 suggests that there may only be one such building. Also, if I said, "Do you know any buildings that need humidity controllers ?" would that suggest that one humidity controller may be needed for each building, more than one humidity controller for each building or it doesn't say? It leaves it unclear.
