Singular is always used for nouns as adjectives:  'a ten-minute coffee break', 'a shoe store', 'ten shoe stores'.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And should you come to need the plural noun, 'formulas' would be more appropriate for software, I believe.
