&lt;p&gt;First, Is &amp;#39;at&amp;#39; in &amp;quot;Yesterday [at] about this time of the day&amp;quot; optional? I believe I&amp;#39;ve seen similar contructions without the preposition.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Second, if &amp;#39;At times&amp;#39; is replaced with &amp;#39;Sometimes&amp;quot;, does the meaning change?&lt;/p&gt;
