By the way could you help me understand exactly the meaning of the verb " to short " I have consulted dictionaries but cannot understand because the dictionaries do not provide examples. I would appreciate it very much if you could clarify its meanings by giving me some effective examples.
Best wishes

Re: he's ?

like is a word where the use/meaning has extended a lot; especially among younger. In many cases it doesn't really have a meaning and is more of a verbal tic.
shorted me like .2 grams on an eigth - like has no meaning here. It's just a verbal tic. shorted me .2 grams on an eighth. He undersupplied me by .2 grams on my eighth of an ounce.
