&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;1. Do not place a phrase or clause:&lt;br /&gt;A. in a sentence. B. at the beginning of a sentence. C. at the end of a sentence. D. too far from the word it is meant to modify.&lt;br /&gt;Answer D.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt; I don&amp;#39;t like any of these answer. D is clearly the expected answer, but it seems a&amp;nbsp;bit odd to me because I don&amp;#39;t see that a phrase/clause has to &amp;#39;modify&amp;#39; anything. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
