Your mistakes were in 1, 2, and 3, so I'm not sure why you said you were confused on 2 and 4.

The "short cut" is not a short cut - it's a TEST to see which one you should use.

Do you say "me is going"? No. You say "I am going" So you would not then say "Paul and me are going." You say "Paul and I are going."

I don't think you actually have these figured out very well. Do you want to post some more?

Cute, there is one rule that will always help you here. Take "Paul" or "Carol" out of the sentence and figure out what's left.

1.Please give I your undividened attention.

2. me are going to set a meeting date.

3.Carol told he the good news.

4.Send the package to him.

Only one of these works now. Fix the pronouns, and then put the other people back in.
