&lt;p&gt;You may be thinking of the fact that the British term for &amp;#39;a drug store&amp;#39; is &lt;strong&gt;&amp;#39;a chemist&amp;#39;s&lt;/strong&gt; (shop)&amp;#39;.&lt;img src="http://www.englishforums.com/emoticons/emotion-1.gif" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;eg I went into the chemist&amp;#39;s to buy some aspirin.&lt;/p&gt;
