Indeed I was - but I had never heard "chemistries" before. (I have a passion for English books so I'm pretty good with MOST the differences, on/in the street excepted, but that would have been a new one for me.)

Hi barb,

You may be thinking of the fact that the British term for 'a drug store' is 'a chemist's (shop)'.

eg I went into the chemist's to buy some aspirin.

I don't know what 'chemistries' means here. You need to find another word or words.

Which sentence is correct?

This physician is in receipt of recent chemistries, a copy of which has been faxed to the office of Dr. John Smith.
