&lt;p&gt;(A) trim&lt;br /&gt;(B) are trimming&lt;br /&gt;(C) have trimmed&lt;br /&gt;(D) have been trimming&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I chose (D), but I think (C) sounds fine too. What if I have finished trimming rose and left all the mess before cleaning it up?&lt;/p&gt;
