Well I want to ask one past sentence question.
1. ~~At top surface of the table,~~On the table top I see a round vase holding [verb is appropriate? fine] the red roses with leaves, [comma we use?] and give [or use continous participal tense: giving?better to use this] an elegant look to my table.
After correct at suggestions:
On the table top I see a round vase holding the red roses with leaves , and giving an elegant look to my table.
Here we use comma or no need to use and say the sentence without conjunction "And"?

You can omit the comma. It is not really necessary.

The hanging curtain sways and dances to the ( or i think with the would be appropriate?) melodious winds.

The hanging curtain sways and dances to the silent rhythm of the winds.

That's a very poetic sentence full of imagery.

Hello everyone !

Suggest me in this discussion of correcting my sentence.

Make some changes to create some how a good sentence or better.

Curtain was been under discussion. I cancel the using ROD, its un catchy part

This hanging curtain sways (verb is ok with "s") like dancing with (or use on instead of with?) the rhythms of winds.

Now its a good sentence to be noted or need more improvements.

Can you give me any examples where students like me separate the subject from its verb.

so can i recognize not to do them again.

And i mean to say:

This soft curtain hanging over the fixed rood and swinging with the rythms of winds; somehow, touches my chair at variable intervals.

Do not think about using a comma to seperate the subject from the verb.

Think instead that you use commas on both sides of a non-restrictive (extra information, non-essential) part of the sentence. The commas are used to keep that part together, not to seperate anything.

Commas mark the beginning and ending of these non-restrictive phrases. I repeat: They do NOT serve to seperate the subject from the verb.

Okay thats good idea

But i m still confused. Subject and verb can be saperated only in describing subject RIGHT !

And this additional information is non-essential clauses .

Means at some instant we can add commas between subject and verb.

Am i right ?

You can lift the part set off by commas entirely out of the sentence.

The soft curtain, hanging from a rod at the upper edge of the window, sways rhythmetically in the breeze, repeatedly brushing my chair.

The soft curtain sways rhythmetically in the breeze, repeatedly brushing my chair.

You set these entire "removable" phrases that contain the extra information off with a comma on each side.

Some of your earlier examples did NOT have a non-essential phrase set off with commas. They just had long noun phrases, a comma, and then the verb phrase.
