In what way is the first example less usable? Too literary-sounding? Also, doesn't the fourth example sound a bit odd to you? (A bit like saying "I'll go to greet them" instead of "I'll go and greet them". Somehow, "to" just doesn't sound right to me in this context. Am I wrong?)

They all mean much the same, and the only one I find less usable is #A

Hi, which of the following sentences would you use in the given context and why?

"This place is a little bare. If I could afford redecorating it..."

a] "(...) I'd fill it with so many ornaments as to turn it into a veritable palace."

b] "(...) I'd fill it with enough ornaments to turn it into a veritable palace."

c] "(...) I'd fill it with ornaments and turn it into a veritable palace."

d] "(...) I'd fill it with ornaments to turn it into a veritable palace."

I could be wrong, but I think all of the above sentences work in my example except for the fourth one (d]). I only included it to make sure I wasn't mistaken. What do you think?
