Hotel is usually after the name of the hotel, but sometimes it occurs before it. No grammatical rule requires the word Hotel. You can leave it out if there is no room for misunderstanding:  the Hilton Hotel, the Hotel Hilton, the Hilton  By the way, the same applies to the names of rivers: the Thames River/river, the River/river Thames, the Thames.
