these sort of people ?? people?? You mean black, yellow, white? It sounds very rude. I don't think it's suitable for people. Animals maybe. I'm not sure though. I would like to hear from an expert on this.

Those sort of is correct. The following extract is from Otto Jespersen's Essentials of English Grammar:

"In the familiar these kind of tools, those sort of speeches, we may look upon kind and sort as unchanged plurals."

Hi,

I often say, "Those sort of people".

Is this correct, or should I say, "Those sorts of people" and "That sort of person"

When there is a plural, as in "people", should it always be "those sorts"?
