&lt;p&gt;I am not completely sure about this but I think people prefer &amp;#39;hair salon&amp;#39; over &amp;#39;barber&amp;#39;s&amp;#39; more nowadays as &amp;#39;barber&amp;#39;s&amp;#39; is considered sexist.&lt;/p&gt;
