Grass-fed implies that they are not capable of feeding themselves. (I would say, &quot;grass-eating,&quot; or &quot;grazing.&quot;) You often hear the expression &quot;corn-fed pork,&quot; but this is when they&#39;re raised to be butchered. And hogs are not grazing animals.
