This is the one. Nobody gave me any money. Nobody did my studying for me. Nobody supported me with food and shelter. I worked to earn my own money to support myself and to pay for my books and tuition. Sweat = hard work.

In terms of the sentence, the money and the sweat are not connected - that is they're separate components. The sentence itself does not imply any relationship. The person could have worked full time and studied full time and also received money from another source. But he/she did not. (separate facts.)

Hello,

I'd like to know the meaning of the following sentence.

"I did it myself, with my own sweat and my own money."
(This person put himself through college while working full-time.)

The expression "with my own sweat" modifies "my own money"?
"my own money" means "my own money that I earned with my own sweat"?

Or "with my own sweat" means "(work and study) very hard"?
