The &amp;#39;for&amp;#39; has a &amp;#39;selecting/scheduling&amp;#39; kind of meaning.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#111111;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&amp;#39;To&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;#39; is by far the commonest choice.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#111111;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#0000bf;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#0000bf;"&gt;2. You can prove her wrong.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#0000bf;"&gt;   You can prove that she was wrong.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#0000bf;"&gt;---are both of them OK? &lt;span style="color:#111111;"&gt;Both are OK.
