Now, is it ok to say I like cats and I like dogs. or is it necessary to say I like cats, and I like dogs. and does the rule change with different conjunction words? like but, or, etc. Because I&#39;ve visited a couple of english sites, and they&#39;ve only suggested using the conjunction with the punctuation to correct a run on. thanks in advance.
