Poems are the closest thing written language has to truth.
You should learn to appreciate poetry not only for its fluency with
language, but more so for its ability to awaken part of you that you
didn't even know was asleep.

If your intention is to "improve your culture", why worry about liking the poems?
You can carry on studying poetry, as you would study any other subject you dislike; and perhaps one day, you'll find one or two poems that you can read with pleasure.

Ville , I have two questions and if you may, I'd like you to answer them:
1- Haven't you ever taken a poetry course?
2- Do you like poems written in your mother tongue?

how can i like poems?

i dont like poems but i wanna learn poems and improve my culture.
