They usually mix their 'Caribbean dialect' and the 'London-slang'in their lyrics. Unfortunately I'm neither from London or Caribbean islands so I can't tell you more about the words

Re: Lyric meanings for Big City Life?

We all want to know! "Big City Life,
Me try fi get by,
Pressure nah ease up no matter how hard me try.
Big City Life,
Here my heart have no base,
And right now Babylon de pon me case." I think "Babylon" is the police. Can someone confirm that? But what is "de pon me case" ? At a guess I would say they are on his case but I don't know.
