Understanding is a concept from which you need to free your mind, as is the concept of freeing your mind.
When you understand this you will sit quietly watching the grass grow and some people will mistake you for a zombie.

Re: Buddhists are really cool zombies

Please forgive me, but huh? Is the burden of understanding on the speaker or the listener?

Re: Buddhists are really cool zombies

The peace of mind to which Buddhism aspires transcends opposites. When you reach that state you are neither zombie nor not-zombie as well as being being both zombie and not-zombie and indeed neither of the preceding as well as its opposite.

Buddhists are really cool zombies

Buddhism is really cool - apart from the zombie factor. I mean, Buddhists are really nice people, and they don't hurt others at all. They are considerate, kind, meek, humble, sweeties... but sometimes I can't help thinking htey are a bit zombyish. Don't get me wrong, this is a genuine question. Is being Buddhist the same as being a zombie? It's all very well to bannish emotion, but is that really living? Perhaps I have a poor understanding of Buddhism. I REALLY want to know, because all other religeons/philosophies seem pretty *** up. Please state your opinions :-) Thanks, and I hope I haven't offended anyone. That would be bad karma - for all..
