Well, let's just agree that referring to everyone in the forum by a word that describes only males is not the best course of action.

I imply that is not appropriate because used for describing a young man whose behaviour is characteristic of male adolescents, especially in being rowdy, macho, or immature. At least Collins' Dictionary thinks so.

If this refers to a document, then one that is well laid-out has been carefully designed to have a good aesthetic appearance on the page. Typographers and layout artists are trained to do this.
